Oxfam's Face to Face Fundraising team

Having our own in-house fundraisers allows us to recruit long-term donors very cost-effectively and have greater accountability through our training and close monitoring of any compliance issues.

We have fundraisers working in Scotland, The North West, The Midlands, Wales and South West and around London. This national spread means we can recruit thousands of committed new donors each month and generate millions of pounds of unrestricted income each year to help tackle poverty and injustice around the world.

If you have joined Oxfam through one of our Face to Face Fundraisers, THANK YOU and we'd love to hear about your experience.

Meet the team

Carl Street - National Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager

Carl has worked in Face to Face fundraising for nearly 12 years, starting as a street fundraiser in 2004. He helped set up Oxfam's In house F2F operation in 2014 and is extremely proud of what it has become. In his spare time Carl splits his time between his family and playing in his band.

I love Oxfam because we are passionate about ending poverty for good. Our 3 core areas of work allow us to respond when terrible emergencies happen around the world. We help people, communities and even countries live more sustainable lives and we challenge the status quo that holds people in poverty.

Penny Marceaux - Southern Operations Manager

Penny has worked in face to face fundraising for five-and-a-half years and was previously the fundraising team manager at St Mungo's charity for helping the homeless. She studied Dance and Video and Photography at University and loves music festivals and putting on music events.

I love Oxfam for everything that it stands for and because of the amazing work that Oxfam does. I love being part of a fundraising team that is able to make a difference in other people's lives.

Oliver Pancoust - Manchester Regional Manager

Ollie has worked in face-to-face fundraising for many years. He previously worked for Shelter's in-house team on both two step and straight to direct debit campaigns.

I've worked in fundraising for over 5 years and I wouldn't change a moment of it. I'm so proud of my team! Every single day they give 110% rain or shine and are completely committed to the work that Oxfam does. My favourite moments with Oxfam are when I have trained a new fundraiser and they sign up their first ever donor. They are always so excited and proud.

Joe Dyer - Glasgow Regional Manager

I work for Oxfam because it refuses to accept that poverty is an accident, and persuading people to do something about it is addictive.

Antony McNally - Deputy Fundraising Manager (London)

Anthony has worked in F2F for more than 5 years and is the Deputy Manger for the London section, he's a budding writer and aims to work in the film industry one day.

I love Oxfam because we focus on every aspect of poverty; food, water and sanitation but also human rights, inequality and education.

Ahmet Ahman - Team leader (London)

As a father one must have the needs of his children before the needs of himself, this is also true of the relationship between a team leader and his fundraisers. It is through this understanding that I am able to get the best out of my team and fulfil my expectation of myself by being an example. One of the reasons why I love fundraising is that it utilises my skill set as a leader of those who like me are dedicated to eradicating poverty wherever we find it.

Chelsea - Team Leader (Manchester)

Hi I'm Chelsea. I'm from Canada and I'm 23 years old. I'm a Team Leader at Oxfam and I've been here for a year and a half. I love my job because I love the people I work with and I meet amazing people everyday. My favourite thing about Oxfam is the campaigning!

Jamie Lewis - Team Leader (Glasgow)

I'm proud of Oxfam's work holding governments to account on everything from tax avoidance to women's rights to climate change.

Nicki Muggeridge - Fundraiser (London)

I'm a strong believer in "No one has ever become poor by giving" - Anne Frank. Being a fundraiser doesn't just mean reaching a certain target, it's reaching a goal that everyone wants to one day see achieved and being part of that movement makes every day I go into work amazing!

Eva Martens - Fundraiser (London)

Everyday we are faced with thousands of unconscious decisions, most of which we do not even realise. Imagine having the power to give an individual a choice to change the lives of others for the better, to make them conscious of their power. Imagine making someone realise they are the difference between what is happening now and what will happen in the future. Imagine that spark you see in someone's eyes when they decide to make a change and help. There is nothing more satisfying then being the one to make a person realise they can in fact make the world a better place for someone else.
