Every year, Oxfam and the Gurkhas put on Trailwalker - a non-stop 100km trek in the South Downs National Park, which teams of four must complete in less than 30 hours. The event attracts thousands of participants from the UK and overseas, and you can be a part of it by signing up to volunteer with us.

Staging Trailwalker would not be possible without Oxfam volunteers, who keep walkers going with cheers, cups of tea and information about the route, and help with registration and the medal ceremony at the finish line.
We also need several specialist volunteers to provide massage and advice to the participants, and photographers, videographers and bloggers. If any of those areas interest you, we'd love to hear from you!
Do something amazing today and donate your time to Oxfam. Each shift you work is the equivalent of giving £80 to our life changing work around the world, so you'll be lifting lives abroad at the same time as helping our intrepid walkers!
A massive thank you!
Thank you so much to all of our Trailwalker volunteers, who volunteered in some of the wettest and muddiest conditions we have ever seen for this event. The weather meant that the participants appreciated your help and support even more, whether it was making a cup of tea, cheering them on, helping them check in, or guiding a tired walker to a nearby seat.
One participant summed this up by saying: "Best of all, everyone we encountered throughout the event, from start to finish, just kept smiling... despite the mud, sweat and rain. I would genuinely recommend this event to everyone."
The teams have now raised over £1 million for the vital work of Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust around the world.
