Online Shop Online Assistant (Reigate)

The role involves assisting the existing online shop controller and using your own initiatives to help increase the sale income from the Oxfam online shop. This includes choosing and adding sellable items to the online shop, general organising and packing up any sold items.

Frequency: A minimum of 2 mornings or afternoons between Mondays and Saturdays.

• Sorting and organising which items are suitable for sale online. This included books and clothes.
• Taking photos of items such as clothing that are to be sold.
• Adding items for sale on the Oxfam online and Ebay.
• Comparing and deciding on suitable prices for our items.
• Packing up our sold items in a neat and professional manner.
• Keeping track of what we have sold and how much income the shop has made from the online sales.
• General organising.

• Previous sales experience would be a plus
• General photography skills
• Good grammar 
• Able to work on own initiative
• Computer skills such as knowing how to use the internet, word and Excel.
• General Maths skills
• Familiar with selling on Ebay

• An increased knowledge of sales tactics
• An opportunity to use and develop own skills in a business environment
• To contribute to Oxfam's mission of overcoming poverty and suffering
