Homewares Volunteer (Liskeard)

Homewares includes lots of different items from antiques, china, kitchenware to glassware, pictures and much more. Customers can get unique items they won't be able to find in any other shops and we have fantastic pieces in which we have gained a local reputation for. You will work as part of a team to make sure that we are selling good quality items for the right price. You will help to display and merchandise these items. It does not matter if you are a novice or experienced with homewares - you will receive all the training and support needed for this role.

Frequency: 1-2 days a week

• Sorting/valuing saleable items from donated goods.
• Washing/cleaning/pricing items.
• Merchandising and displaying stock on the shop floor.
• Recycling culled/non-saleable goods.
• Maintaining backroom.

• No previous experience necessary but you will need a desire to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Friendly and helpful attitude.

• An opportunity to gain new skills and work experience.
• Full training and flexible hours.
• Local travel and lunch expenses paid.
• Working towards Oxfam's goal of overcoming poverty and suffering.
