Volunteer Clothing Specialist (Holloway,London)

Context:

This is an opportunity to volunteer as part of a new shop opening.  The Oxfam shop will be fast paced and vibrant.  We need volunteers with an interest in clothing, a good eye for quality clothes and labels.

Flexible, preferably minimum 4 hours per week

Key responsibilities:

  • Sorting through and identifying stock appropriate for sale
  • Pricing stock
  • Preparing stock to be put on sale
  • Merchandising stock
  • Culling and replenishing stock
  • Working within a team

Skills and competencies:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Enthusiasm and the willingness to learn
  • Work as part of a team
  • Proactive and able to work off own initiative as well as take instruction
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention for detail
