Music & Film Volunteer (Amersham)

Context:

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about music and film to utilise their enthusiasm in going through donations, pricing, researching and merchandising a range of donated media including CDs, DVDs and vinyl in a engaging and pleasant shop.

Frequency:1-2 days depending on applicant. 2 shifts of 3 hours at least.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sorting through donated music and films
  • Researching and pricing such items
  • Merchandising and displaying DVDs, CDs and vinyl
  • Maintaining levels of stock
  • Adhering to retail standards

Skills and competencies:

  • No formal qualifications are required. Training will be given.
  • An interest in music and film.
  • An eye for detail
  • Reliable, punctual and responsible
  • Friendly and enthusiastic and being able to work as part of a team.
