Volunteer Sunday Supervisor (Newton Mearns)

Context:

To supervise the everyday running of the shop in the absence of the manager, including opening, closing and cashing up.

Frequency: Sundays from 12am to 4 pm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise other volunteers
  • Merchandising stock
  • Processing donations
  • Signing donors up to gift aid
  • Customer service
  • Cashing up

Skills and competencies:

  • Previous supervisory experience is preferable but not essential
  • Confident cash handling
  • Good social and communication skills
