Clothes Volunteer Retail Assistant (Spalding)

Context:

We are looking for a clothes retail assistant to work in our store in a busy market town. Training will be offered and  direct contact with customers is optional

We are looking for a person with an interest in fashion, or interested in acquiring experience of retail work, particularly in the apparel sector

A minimum of three hours per week. The time and the day of the week are flexible, the hours would be between 9 am and 5 pm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sorting and pricing clothes
  • Selecting and preparing items for sale.
  • Creating and assisting with window displays.
  • Dealing directly with customers and till work are optional

Skills and competencies:

  • No retail experience is necessary. We're looking for people who:
  • Are friendly, reliable and interested in helping others
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of or interest in fashion would be an advantage
