Clothing Volunteer (Gateshead)

Context:

We need volunteers to sort, price and cull the donations we receive within the clothes department. We are looking for people with a good eye for quality clothes and labels.

Frequency: 2 or 3 4-hour shifts per week. We trade Monday to Saturday 09:30 - 17:00.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sorting clothes and labelling and pricing accordingly, aiming to maximise sales from the donations we receive
  • Visual merchandising
  • General retail duties

Skills and competencies:

  • Good eye for pricing
  • Numeracy
  • Eye for detail
  • General shop tidiness
  • Dressing mannequins
