Homewares and Collectables Volunteer Assistant (Chelsea)

Context:

Working on the shop floor and in the stockroom as part of a friendly team in a busy shop.

Frequency: Minimum of one (4 hour) shift per week

Key responsibilities:

  • Sorting and cleaning homewares and collectibles
  • Researching and pricing homewares and collectibles
  • Merchandising and displaying homewares and collectibles
  • Customer service

Skills and competencies:

  • An interest in homewares/ interior design/ collectibles
  • Friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team

 

What this role can offer the volunteer:

  • Potential to gain specific product knowledge
  • Experience in retail and customer service
