Fashion Assistant Menswear (Chelsea)

Context:

Working on the shop floor and in the stockroom as part of a friendly team in a busy shop. This is a key role in a fashion-forward shop which specialises in vintage events

Frequency: Minimum of one (4 hour) shift per week

Key responsibilities:

  • Sorting donations of clothing and/ or accessories
  • Researching and pricing clothing and/ or accessories
  • Merchandising and displaying clothing and/ or accessories
  • Customer service

Skills and competencies:

  • An interest in, and knowledge of, designer, vintage and high-street fashion
  • Friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • An eye for detail and design

What this role can offer the volunteer:

  • Potential to gain specific product knowledge
  • Experience in retail, fashion, merchandising, and customer service
  • A chance to be involved in event organising
