Deliver the Deal

7 December 2009, Copenhagen. A momentous time and place on the journey to fight climate change. The date when the world will choose how to replace the Kyoto treaty – the existing international agreement for tackling climate change.

The stakes couldn't be higher. 15,000 officials from 200 countries will gather. You’ve helped us persuade the Prime Minister to attend the conference. Now he must deliver a deal that’s fair and safe, and  persuade other world leaders to attend and do the same.

Deliver the Deal

The UN Climate Change Conference is our best chance yet at achieving a progressive, global deal but there is still so much to do.

Now that you’ve helped persuade the Prime Minister to go, we must ensure that he does as much as possible when gets there. The people with the big jobs must take responsibility for the big decisions. Let’s make sure he meets other world leaders – those with the power to agree a fair and safe deal for all. This will dramatically increase the likelihood of a true global agreement.

Get involved by taking the action on the right. Your email will go directly to Number 10. Every email gives the PM another nudge. Every nudge pushes us nearer to a fair and safe deal at Copenhagen.
