Help turn up the volume

Help turn up the volume
Music is powerful. And as Bob Geldof and Bono can testify, it can be used as a platform for spreading the word about the fight against poverty. But you don't have to be an international megastar to make a difference. Far from it in fact. Every week, up and down the UK, Oxfam Outreachers are campaigning at music events - talking to gig-goers about what causes poverty and what can be done about it.

You don't have to be an expert on the ins-and-outs of Oxfam's work to take part in Outreach. You just have to give a damn about ending poverty, and we'll help you with the rest. At every gig, festival or event you campaign at, other Outreachers will always be on-hand to give you the support you need.

Work hard, play hard

Work hard, play hard
And it's not all work, work, work. Whether you're collecting signatures for a petition, talking to gig-goers about Oxfam, or generally kicking up a fuss about poverty, you'll get to see great live music. And when the hard work is over, you can join in the fun too.
