Dear Prime Minister,

Deliver the Deal

Thank you for agreeing to attend the UN summit in Copenhagen this December and for demonstrating your willingness to lead at this critical conference. We ask you to deliver more still and make sure this willingness becomes a reality - so that you and other world leaders actually deliver a fair and safe deal.

Millions of the world's poorest people already suffer the effects of climate change. To achieve a fair and safe deal for all, we need to secure $150 billion a year for adaptation and mitigation in developing countries that's additional to existing aid, and to ensure that the richest and most responsible countries commit to reducing emissions by 40% by 2020.

I urge you to call publicly for other world leaders to attend the summit and to use the UK's influence to ensure that those with the power to, do make the right decision and deliver a fair and safe global climate deal.
