Show-off your square
So you've knitted your square and it looks fab. In fact, it looks so good you want to tell someone about it. Here's how you can show off your square, and help us get more people knitting.
Step one
Grab your camera and take a picture of your square (feel free to make your photo as creative as you like).
Step two
Head to flickr.com and upload your photo (you can register for a free Flickr account if you haven't got one already), making sure that you:
- Add the tag "Oxfam knitted petition" to your photo
- In the description for your photo, tell us why you decided to take part in the campaign by knitting a square
Don't fancy registering on Flickr? Then email your photo to sblakemore@oxfam.org.uk and we'll upload it for you. But please keep the file size under 2MB or your email won't get through to us properly.
Step three
Join our Flickr group, Oxfam's maternal mortality campaign, and add your photo.
That's it! Now sit back watch as more and more people add their squares to our Flickr group. And if you fancy going even further, you could even hang one of our virtual knitting banners on your blog or website.
