Lack of basic health care in poor countries means that every minute a mother dies needlessly in pregnancy and childbirth. At this year’s UN General Assembly on 23 September, Gordon Brown has a real chance to change this by supporting free public health care for mothers and children in a number of poor countries.

However, Gordon Brown needs a big push in the right direction to make this happen. That’s where you come in.

Show Gordon Brown that people in the UK want him to help give mums and babies in poor countries the same care as they get here.

Simply add a sentence or two to the statement about why free health care for mothers and children means a lot to you. We’ll deliver all of your messages directly to the Prime Minister. And of course, we’ll let you know what difference your campaigning has made.
