Employee fundraising
Fundraising at work is a great way to boost your employer’s reputation with shareholders, suppliers, and the community; and it also provides your colleagues with a great chance to get to know each other!
You and your colleagues can fundraise while you're at work – by organising collections or getting sponsored to do (or not do) whatever you can think of. You can also take part in events outside of your workplace, by organising a music event for Oxjam or taking part in a sporting event for Oxfam. Don't forget to ask your company to match the total that you raise.
There are numerous ways you can raise funds for Oxfam with your colleagues – here are just some of them:
- Enter a team in Trailwalker
- Take part in an Open Challenge
- Run the Flora London Marathon
- Check out other sporting events (British 10K Run, BUPA Great North Run)
- Take part in Oxfam’s music festival, Oxjam
- Arrange a dress up or dress down day in your office
- Do a sponsored…anything!
- Hold an auction – of experiences, promises or items
- Organise a fundraising dinner, dance or ball
