As an international media company, UBM clearly sees the promotion of education and literacy as key issues. Oxfam's reputation and experience in this region of Africa makes them a natural choice of partner and we are delighted to be able to support them in this important work.

UBM has done a wonderful thing. Deciding to help fund this programme in the DRC will ensure that thousands of children will get a better education. Oxfam believes that education is a fundamental human right – and UBM is directly helping people access that right. The children who are educated will be better equipped to pull themselves out of poverty. On behalf of Oxfam, and all the people who will benefit from this programme, thank you.

Maguy MukidiThank you from the DRC

This project has really given hope for the future to thousands of children living in an almost forgotten place. It's really nice to see that there are people far away who think about helping children to go to school and learn in a decent environment in order to better their future. Thank you.
