Do I have to buy a ticket?
You will be required to pay a refundable deposit, which is the price of the most expensive festival we work at. The deposit for all festivals in 2009 is £175. This has gone up from last year in line with the increased price for festival tickets.
Can I make split payments, paying half in one month and half the next?
I'm afraid not. The system can only take one payment, of the correct amount.
Can I pay for my friends?
Yes, you can pay for your friends . Each application should have a deposit of £175 linked with it.
When I make a payment, will the money leave my account immediately?
No. It can take up to 3 working days for the money to leave your account, so please make sure the funds are available.
When will I get my deposit back?
The deposit will be refunded directly back to the card that you pay it from, and we will aim to get all straightforward refunds back within a month of the last festival you have worked.
If your account closes before you have been refunded, you will need to let us know, so we can sort out an alternative way to refund you.
If for any reason the payment is rejected by your account, there will inevitably be a delay as we will need to contact you to request bank account details to allow us to refund you into your bank account by BACS.
What happens if I cancel before the festival?
As above, we will still aim to refund you within a month of your last festival. If you are not stewarding or campaigning at any other festival, we aim to refund you within 3 weeks of your cancelling your place. This will be minus an admin fee – see cancellation policy and cancellation FAQs.
What happens to my money?
Your money will be taken automatically by WorldPay, our secure internet payment provider, and held in a holding account until you have completed your last shift. Within a month of confirming that you have worked all your shifts satisfactorily, we will attempt to refund you.
Through this process, we will not be holding any bank or credit card details, this will all be held by WorldPay. All we will have is a transaction record stating that the money has been transferred to our holding account.
