MTV

As part of Oxjam 2007, MTV ran a new talent initiative called Get Seen, Get Heard - calling out to the nation's up-and-coming music stars to get involved in the festival for the chance of recognition on MTV. Get up to the minute info on who is in the running for winning the competition of a lifetime - you will be seeing them on the telly very soon!

v

v is a new independent charity aiming to inspire one million young volunteers in England aged 16-25. v works with and funds other organisations, including Oxfam, to develop and improve the opportunities available to young volunteers via projects such as Oxjam.

v is led by the cares, passions, interests and beliefs of young people. If you are aged 16-25, you can take part in giving v your feedback on all aspects of volunteering. Find out how you can get involved at www.vinspired.com - and there's a chance to win some great prizes too.

XFM

Oxjam and XFM worked together to give 250 quid to lucky Oxjammers to help with their events. We will keep you posted with how they used these grants to make music, raise money and help end poverty.

We Got Tickets

We Got Tickets are kindly working with Oxfam to support us in serveral ways. They are providing a platform for our events organisers to sell tickets and are donating 50% of the booking fee to Oxfam. In addition they are also promoting Oxjam events through their established promotional networks. If this isn't enough they have also set up a rather fantastic Oxfam donate button across all of their events listed for October so generous individuals can raise even more money for a great cause.
