One-off gigs to launch Oxjam 2009

To celebrate the start of Oxjam this October we're giving you the chance to see top-secret, one-off gigs from amazing stars - and all in an Oxfam shop.

Top secret location

From 28 September to 1 October, Oxjam is taking over an Oxfam shop in a secret location in London. During the day, the shop will sell the best donated records from around London.

By night, the shop will be transformed into a gig venue, hosting intimate sets from top artists including Fatboy Slim, Editors, Basement Jaxx, Just Jack, Nitin Sawhney, Stereo MCs, Shlomo, Tony Allen and many more.

We've got 1 pair of tickets to give away for each of these once-in-a-lifetime gigs (Competition closes at midnight on Tuesday 22nd September 2009) :

Monday 28 September: VV Brown + Just Jack (acoustic) + Master Shortie

Tue 29 September: Tony Allen plus special guests + Nitin Sawhney + Shlomo

Wed 30 September: Fatboy Slim + Basement Jaxx (DJ set) + Stereo MCs (DJ set)

Thu 1 October: Editors + Good Shoes + special guests.

Applicants and their guests must be able to make their own way to and from London and be over 16 years of age on the day of the event. Entrance by invitation only. Proof of age and indentity required. Photographic ID of winners and their guests will be checked on the door. No ID no entry.

Closing date is Tuesday, 22 September 2009, at midnight.

One entry per person.

1 winner for each event will be chosen at random from all correct entries received. Winners will be informed by email before midnight, Thursday, 24 September 2009.

Confirmation of acceptence is required. If winners do not confirm acceptance and provide the name of their guest by 9.am Monday, 28 September 2009, they will forefeit their prize and another winner will be selected.
