Blue Faces at Oxjam: the story behind the facepaint.

This October, artists and music fans at Oxjam events across the country demanded action on climate change until they were blue in the face!

By painting their face blue, gig-goers let the world know that they want to see real action on climate change at the Copenhagen summit in December.

Climate change is already costing lives, and affecting the world's poorest people first and worst. Climate change is the battle of our generation, and Copenhagen is our one big chance to act together to fight it.

We want the leaders of the world's richest countries, including the UK, to:

1) Cut their carbon emissions, meaningfully and immediately
2) Provide money and support to help poor countries adapt to the effects of climate change

That's it. If you painted or drew your face blue and texted or sent this to Oxfam then your action is already a part of this crucial petition. Thank you. If not, it isn't too late to make your voice heard at this world-changing moment. Just click on this link. I'd like to demand action on climate change to find out more about the issues.
