How do we raise £2,000?

£2,000 or £500 per team member, sounds like a lot of money? It is, and it will make a huge difference to the work of both Oxfam and the GWT around the world. But don’t worry; with a little planning, and a few added extras, your team will smash your target. Promise.

The right mix

For most Trailwalkers, it's a mix of fundraising that helps them hit their target. Sponsorship should see over half of your target reached and then an event, cake sale or selling a service should see your team home.

Work as a team – together you have a large network of friends, family and business contacts.

Fundraising resources

You are not on your own. When you take part in Trailwalker we want you to smash your target as much as you do. Oxfam has a range of fundraising resources available online – here's a sample.

And don't forget, we have experienced advisers just a phone-call -away to help you develop or refine any ideas –

Lucky numbers fundraising

Follow our how-to guide to set up this simple game for friends and colleagues. It’s a great incentive for people to get involved, even if they’ve already donated to you.

Ask your colleagues to donate a certain amount each week, in return for entry to your Lucky Numbers game.

The first person to match all six of their numbers with numbers from the National Lottery draw wins half the pot. Your team puts the other half towards your fundraising total.
