Oxfam's head office is in Oxford and there are regional offices in London, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and Glasgow,

We advertise for volunteers across a wide range of divisions across the charity. Sometimes a post will require a specialist skill, sometimes it will simply need someone who has heaps of enthusiasm. It may be a full-time post over several months or it may be short-term and part-time.

There are lots of areas within the many departments at Oxfam that could benefit from your time and experience. The sorts of roles which volunteers are currently involved in include:

• organising events
• giving supporters more information about Oxfam
• finding out how Oxfam can engage better with young people
• designing intranet sites
• revising human resources policies
• researching what motivates people to volunteer for Oxfam
• finding work placements for students and graduates
• raising funds through events
• auditing our shops and other premises

And their skills? Our volunteers have a vast range of skills and experience such as:

• accountancy
• project management
• administration
• research
• marketing
• valuing goods donated to our shops
• customer care...
