Oxfam is offering three emerging female photographers the amazing opportunity of a lifetime to complete a commission for the charity's Spring fundraising campaign, alongside women photographers from the renowned photo agency Magnum.  Exposure: The Oxfam Female Photography Prize is being run in partnership with creative network charity IdeasTap.

The winning applicants will go on one of three trips with Oxfam to Armenia, Chad and Sri Lanka.  While there, they will be mentored by a female Magnum photographer to document the challenges faced by people, particularly women, living in poverty and the impact of Oxfam's work to help bring about lasting, positive change.

The majority of people living in poverty are women and Oxfam works worldwide to help women overcome discrimination and inequality.  The aim of the competition is to capture Oxfam's work through the lens of female photographers.  It is also an opportunity for up-and-coming women photographers to work alongside some of the most experienced and respected female photographers in the industry.

The deadline for entries is 9th September.  Applicants must be aged 18 to 25 and able to tell a story through compelling images, as well as demonstrating creativity and intimacy with the subject.  For more information and to enter visit www.ideastap.com/exposure
