More than food on the table

With Oxfam's help, poor farmers in western Honduras are using new food production techniques to turn small plots of land into vegetable gardens and grow enough to feed their families and earn some cash. Honduras spends $1.5m each year on food aid to families who have no means of producing crops - money which could be invested to help others become self-sufficient.
