Gig Maker of the Year 2013: Terms and conditions

  1. The competition starts on 1 October 2013.
  2. The closing date for entries is 17 November 2013. 
  3. The closing date may be extended at Oxfam's discretion.
  4. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary, subject to the conditions below.  
  5. There is no age restriction to enter this competition.
  6. Entrants must complete the competition entry form and send it to to enter.
  7. Entrants must have organised an Oxjam Gig in 2013 to enter.
  8. Entrants must have raised funds of not less than £100 for Oxfam. Submissions will only be considered once the funds raised have been paid to Oxfam. 
  9. Entrants will be judged by a panel including Melvin Benn from Festival Republic who will decide on the winner.
  10. The prize is a summer's worth of festival tickets TBC and a Marshall Hanwell Speaker.  
  11. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
  12. Only one entry is permitted per person.
  13. Oxfam members of staff are not eligible to enter.  
  14. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. The winner/s will be informed by email by 31 December 2013.

  17. Oxfam reserves the right to publicise the winner/s of the competition. 
  18. Oxfam cannot accept responsibility for entries that are not properly received due to communications beyond our control.
  19. Copyright to the entries will remain with the entrant but the entrant licences Oxfam to use their photographs/video clips to publicise the competition and to announce the winner/s, and for possible publication or promotional use.
  20. Entrants must be a resident of the UK. 
  21. This competition is governed by the law of England and Wales.
