Become an Oxjam Takeover Manager

Are you a budding event organiser with excellent leadership skills? Up for taking on an exciting new challenge in 2016?  Then we want to hear from you!

Last year 41 Takeovers entertained punters across the country , from Edinburgh to Exeter and  Cardiff to Cambridge. These are amazing multi-venue events that literally take over a town or city for a whole day in October. They showcase the very best of local talent, and raise on average ten times more money for Oxfam than other Oxjam events. They're run entirely by the most skilled and dedicated volunteers we can find, who are interviewed and then appointed by the central Oxjam team.

We offer one-to-one support and guidance, as well as training with industry experts to help you every step of the way in delivering an incredible music event. You'll gain CV-enhancing fundraising, project management, and events experience. And, crucially, you'll be playing a big part in working towards Oxfam's goal of overcoming poverty and suffering.

The application deadline has been extended to 12th June 2016 so don't miss out!
