Become an Oxjam Takeover Manager

Are you a budding event organiser with real leadership skills? Up for taking on an exciting new challenge in 2015?  Then we want to hear from you!

Last year 53 Takeovers entertained punters across the country , from Shoreditch to Shetland and  Cardiff to Cambridge. These are exciting, vibrant multi-venue events, taking over a town or city for a whole day. They showcase the very best of local talent, and raise on average ten times more money for Oxfam than other Oxjam events. They're run by the most skilled, dedicated volunteers we can find, who are interviewed and appointed by the central Oxjam team.

We offer one-to-one support and guidance, as well as training with industry experts to help you every step of the way in delivering an incredible music event. You'll gain CV-enhancing fundraising, project management, and events experience. And, crucially, you'll be playing a big part in working towards Oxfam's goal of overcoming poverty and suffering.
