The National Farm Worker Ministry was one of the most steadfast supporters of the Mt. Olive boycott from the beginning, co-ordinating church support and recruiting people of faith to march for justice.

FLOC supporters march in front of Kroger stores pressuring the grocery chain to drop Mt. Olive Pickles in the North Carolina region, as two regions did in Ohio. This picket on 23 March 2002 concluded a 'Week-of-Action' at Kroger stores across the state to mark the third anniversary of the Mt. Olive boycott.

A historic labour agreement is signed between FLOC, the North Carolina Growers' Association, and the Mt. Olive Pickle Company ending the 5 ½ year Mt. Olive boycott. The signing was held on 16 September 2004, Mexican Independence Day, in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Community United Church of Christ. This was a stop on the original march from Mt. Olive to Raleigh announcing the boycott in 1999.
