Organisations
Below is a list of UK and international organisations working on gender budgeting.
UK Women's Budget Group.
A network of around 150 women and men lobbying at UK government
level for the use of gender budgeting techniques, and critiquing
government policy on gender. Focus in the last few years has been
on work with HM Treasury.
Scottish Women's Budget Group.
A group of women from voluntary, statutory sector and feminist academics. Their particular expertise is successful lobbying of the Scottish Executive on public spending.
Wales Gender Budget Group.

The Wales Assembly Government has a particular interest in gender budget initiatives, making the potential influence of this group significant. Similar in influence level to the Scottish group.
