A piece of original embroidery on silk with the Union flag, the white ensign. The embroidery reads 58 Med Regt R.A 118 BTY far east land forces Hong Kong 1950 1951. and To my dear mother from your loving son.
This refers the the 58th Medium regiment of the Royal Artillery. The 58th appears to have been formed in the 2nd world war and was disbanded in 1959.
Frames in a fairly standard off the shelf plastic and glass frame. Size external 40x33 cms internal inside of the mount 33x21 cms.
This item would be much better collected from the store direct. We are open 9.30 to 17.15 Mon-Sat.
