Good Condition. Dust jacket has a small rip on top of the spine and front top corner is also slightly torn. Signed by the authors on the title page. Owner’s inscription and date on front flyleaf. Binding and contents sound showing minor tanning consistent with age.
The book is an historical study of a Manx parish based on detailed and exhaustive research of the documentary sources available. It covers the whole range of the life and history of the parish from pre-history. As an example of the detail in this book, it lists all the vessels wrecked on the coast with the sources of the information from which the list was compiled.
This book will appeal to anyone with connections to, or an interest in the history of the Isle of Man. The depth and level of research involved is exceptionally detailed.
