Brown textured cloth binding with blind-stamped borders to front and rear covers, gilt decoration to front cover and gilt lettering, ruling and emblem to spine.

Good condition for a second-hand book: light edge-wear to covers and spine with light bumping to cover corners revealing board material, back-strip detaching from top end with 18.5cm closed tear to front joint and 9.5cm closed tear to rear joint, covers remain intact; school prize bookplate to front pastedown endpaper, cracking to title page hinge and between pages 2018 and 2019 with spine webbing visible, all pages remain intact; light tanning to page edges, light foxing to endpapers, occasional foxing and creasing internally, otherwise internally fine given age of book.

Oxfam Distribution Centre Bournemouth

Here at the B.D.C. we source goods for stores in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Avon area, by house collections and clearances, corporate and personal donations as well as emptying numerous textile and book banks in the area. We have been awarded the "Best National Oxfam On-Line Store" for 2009/10. All of our items have been listed by volunteers who have done a fantastic job, and we are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our on-line operation. We are not open to the public.
