Product description

Publisher: The Richards Press Ltd, St James's Square, London, 1943. Hardback with dustjacket, 101 pages. Book measures approx 5" x 3.5". Cover, in brown cloth boards with gilt titling to spine , is in very good condition with just a trace of bumping to spine extremities. Internally, the book is in good, tight and clean condition for its age with no inscriptions, tears, significant marks or creases. Endpapers are tanned. The charmingly illustrated dustjacket, which is rarely found (in any condition) with this edition, is in fair condition with some chipping and creasing to edges, a one inch tear (with loss) at bottom of spine and a half inch closed tear at top left corner of front and some light tanning. The delightful jacket illustration remains clean and bright. Overall a charming little copy of this wonderful poem cycle.
