Hardback book 16mo (5 x 7 inches). Clothboard cover in taupe colour.
Front cover has a colour illustration pasted on. Embossed title and border decoration in black.
Fly leaf has hand written inscription commemorating the book as a school prize for ‘Empire Day’
Inscription is dated 1932.

There is no publication date in the book, it would have been published prior to 1932 based on the inscription on the fly leaf. Probably around 1922.
The book is illustrated only on the frontispiece page, no other illustrations.
The book print is in larger format, presumably for children to find it easier to read.

Condition:
No Dust jacket.
Covers are sound with minor bumping at top and bottom spine. No sunning or staining.
Pages are firm and have minimal spotting on the surface, edges or pages are spotted.
It measures approx 5 inches x 7 inches x 1 inch.
