Anne of Ingleside

£6.99

Product description

Anne of Ingleside by L. M. Montgomery
Publishers: George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd.
Front Illustration by Nina Miller Davidson
Sequel to "Anne of Green Gables"
Book dates from 1953

"The former Anne Shirley is now Anne Blythe, and mother of a jolly family. The story shows them in their daily life at Ingleside - Gilbert's worries as the local doctor; the children's adventures and the joys and sorrows that assume such large proportions when one is very young; Susan Baker, devoted friend and servant; and Anne's problem of managing her large family and still retaining the old comradeship with Gilbert. There is the same delightful gaiety in this story that has captured the hearts of readers of the "Anne" books throughout the world"

The book is in good condition with a front cover barely worn at all and pages without rips or tears. There is some foxing looking down the side of the book, at the very edges of the pages. The inside of the front and back covers have some obvious discolouring due to age. The sleeve of the book is in fair condition however there are tears along its worn edges and some marks on the behind side.
