Wright, published by T.C. & E.C.Jack in 1909."Illustrated with 100 plates in full colours from paintings by Beatrice Parsons, Eleanor Fortescue Brickdale, Anna Lea-Merrit, Hugh L.Norris, Lilian Stannard, Margaret Waterfield, A. Fairfax Muckley and Francis E. James."

Both volumes in good used condition bound in green cloth with gold decoration and lettering, gold to head of pages, marks to boards, corners and head and tail of spine bumped.

Vol I : Roses; Bulbs; Hardy Herbaceous Plants; Rockery Plants; Greenhouse; Conservatory and Hothouse Flowers; Window and Room Plants. Some foxing particularly to end papers and associated pages, two loose plates due to cracking of block at spine.

Vol II : The Carnation; The Dahlia; Sweet Peas; Annuals; Aquatic Plants; Arches, Pergolas, Pillars and Stumps; Beautiful Walls and Fences; Orchids; The Chrysanthemum; Tender Bedding Plants; Flowers for Suburban Gardens. Some foxing, particularly end papers and associated pages loose frontispiece.
