These three volumes written and published by E.J. Pryke are supplements to the Biographical Dictionary published by the Clarendon Press, O.U.P in 1973.

Supplement I, published in 1981, includes information on private and public collections and the programmes of international symposia held in 1975 and 1978, followed by the additional material for the Biographical Dictionary and numerous plates.

Supplement II, published 1983 includes "An Early Reference to Wax Portraits" by R.W. Lightbown, Keeper of the Arts Library of the V&A. and additional public and private collection information as well as the additional biographical information and plates.

Supplement III, published 1986 is chiefly concerned with the collection at Alnwick Castle, including plates. Inscription possibly by the author.

All three volumes are in very good used condition bound in black cloth with gold lettering (no lettering on Supplement II) with unclipped dust jackets and. Small tear and creasing to the dust jacket of Supplement III.
