Blauer Schatz der Gärten (Blue Treasure of the Garden)

£17.99

Product description

Subtitled: 'Kommende Freundschaft der Gartenmenschen mit der neuen Sphäre der Gartenfarben, dem blauen Flor der Monate von Vorfrühling bis Herbst'. (which roughly translates as 'A coming friendship between the gardeners and the new sphere of garden colours, the blue pile of the months from early spring to autumn').

First edition published in 1940 by Verlag Philipp Reclam jun., Leipzig. Text is in German. With 24 full-page beautiful colour drawings and 55 black & white photographs.

The dust jacket is in poor worn condition with parts missing and is split in two. The boards, although a little faded are in pretty good condition, and apart from the end papers which are lightly foxed, the pages (printed on glossy paper) are in very good clean condition.

The colour illustrations are delightful and could be framed.
