1924 hardback. Blue cloth covered boards, decorated to front and spine. Some bumping and wear to corners. Inside the front hinge is loose, the frontis is detached for about 6" from the top. The damage to the hinge can be seen int he third picture. Page 66 is detached from the spine on the lower third of the page and page 228 has a 2" closed tear on the lower edge. The rest of the inside is in very good condition, with just the occasional light mark.

There are 8 colour plates in all, including the (loose) frontis, one has a couple of small tears on the lower edge. Lots of black and white illustrations, many of them full page.

As well as the shorter stories there are three longer stories, split into sections - Bushrangers' Gold, Dragons at Home, and The Wooden Heads - which has some great illustrations!
