Dancer's End & The Wedding Gift / Two books of poetry by Enoch Powell - signed 1st edition.

£45.00 Out Of Stock

Product description

Publication date: 1951. Condition: Very good. The dust jacket is in very good condition but has some marks (as can be seen in the images), light wear along the top edge, a 2mm tear at the top of the spine and a light crease along part of the top of the back. The dust jacket is price-clipped. Internally, there is some foxing on the end papaers and discolouration on the following page, but the text of the book is in very good condition. The front end paper has an inked name and date at the top. The book has been signed by the author on the title page. The book contains a couple of inked emendations (on pages 75 and 85) which I have seen noted in a different copy and thought to have been done by the author. (The different copy also had an emendation to the 2nd last line on page 50, changing "part" to "apart").
