Der Struwwelpeter von heute

£9.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Der Struwwelpeter von heute
by Dr Heinrich Hoffmann
with new illustrations by Fritz Baumgarten

This is a hardback book with printed board covers and 46 pages. Typically half the pages are text with a coloured illustration on the facing page.

The boards are in good condition but with some marks and superficial damage. The corners are buffed. The rear board shows strong sun bleaching.

The pages are generally very good, but there are occasional marks and discolouration near the edges of the pages. A number of pages also have slight tears on the top or bottom edges. These are typically between 10mm and 30mm in length, but no paper is lost. The pages present well and the printing looks clean and crisp.

The binding is sound, but the spine, originally covered in red cloth, is worn along its entire length, exposing the binding beneath.

Size 245mm x 315mm.

The text is in German. Published by A. Anton und Co, Leipzig. Although there is no publication date, a handwritten inscription on the title page is dated 1929.
