This is a first edition published in 1913 by Methuen and co Ltd. This book is from the "LIttle Books On Art" series. This Book is without a dust jacket. The boards are a dark blue with an impressed design on the spine and front board. There is gold embellishment on the spine. The corners of the boards and the spine have been bumped. The hinges of the book are still tight with no tears or splits. The Pages have light tanning along the edges, however they are still bright and readable with no tears or rips. There is a frontispiece in colour and thirty six other illustrations in black and white, the frontispiece is protected by tissue paper. The edges of the boards and spine have wear from use.
