National Portrait Gallery catalogue of photograph exhibition of October 1976 to January 1977, designed by Ted Gould. Felix Man (1893 -1985) was one of the first photojournalists. He remains one of the greatest. He began working as a professional photographer in the 1920s when newspaper photography was in its infancy and within a few years had helped to define the genre. He photographed many of the 20th century's most well known personalities including G.B. Shaw, Churchill, Moore, Mussolini, amongst others.

Edge rub and cracking, plate in front cover Francis Bartlett 1912-1992. Otherwise clean and legible with dedication to "Dear Francis" who apparently was also a photographer.
