Foreward, Preface and Eight chapters, plus Appendix (Bibliography). Includes info on Croydon Canal, The Racecourses, Markets and Fairs, Cricket and old Inns.

Some foxing, covers slightly discoloured. Spine slightly torn at the top.

Included in the bundle here is a map by G.W. Bacon & Co of the area around Croydon, probably 1930s, detached front cover and no index. Also four undated newspaper clippings about the Croydon area, probably 1930s.
