French warships of World War I

£55.00

About this item

"Illustrated with many and often rare pictures, given details about all these warships, including the auxiliary ships and the hundreds of patrol-boats, that had been built, bought or requisitioned to fight against submarines. Many of the details are published for the first time. Several chapters are particularly devoted to gunnery and other equipment in service in that period. Indeed, the book is the most complete factual account that has ever been written about the French warships of World War I. Also included is a complete roll of war losses and their cause."

Condition details:
There is notable wear and some discolouration to the edges of the jacket. The pages of the book are mostly in fine condition, with the exception of some slight staining on pages toward the back of the book which in no way obscures the text or pictures.
