£24.00

Product description

Publisher: Faber & Faber Limited, London, 1946. Hardback, 92 plates, 3 in colour. Unclipped dustjacket. Cover, in cream cloth boards with red bird design to front and red and gilt titling to spine, is in good/very good condition commensurate with age with just a little light shelfwear and minor bumping to spine extremities. Internally the book is in decent condition commensurate with age with tight binding and generally clean and clear pages and no tears. Small inscription on front endpaper and a few light foxing spots here and there and to page block edge. A little creasing to front free endpaper and ditto but lighter to following two pages. The unclipped dustjacket is in fair condition with edgewear and shelfwear related grubby marks, small tears at spine extremities and a larger tear (approx 5 inches by 1.5 inch with loss) at bottom front edge. Fascinating study of this artist (who tragically died in battle during WW1) with 92 wonderful examples of his work with 3 in full colour.
