Hardback. Glazed pictorial paper covered boards with green cloth spine. Poor condition. Covers are worn, with some tearing of the corners and edges. Binding is loose and some pages are marked or smudged. All pages are age-darkened with occasional foxing.

Illustrated with 100 black and white pictures in the text and approx 10 colour lithographic plates.

The book contains eight separate stories, as follows:
The Orange Witch, Story About Freezig, Story About the Apple-pips, Story About the Brownie, Story About the Queen of the Kangaroos, Story of Nobody, Story About Fairy Emy's Feast, The Last Story.

Despite its rather dilapidated state, this late-Victorian children's book has lost none of its charm. A great collector's item. Hard to find elsewhere.
