An unnumbered copy from an edition of 200 and signed by Richard Llewellyn. A prize-winning novel of a Welsh family and the mining community they lived in. No dust jacket. Oatmeal coloured cloth bound hard covers in good condition but age discloured on the spine and around the edges. Red and gold titles to the spine with a couple of scratches. End papers are very clean. Red ribbon bookmark, faded where it has been exposed. The pages are in very good clean condition with a slight curl to the edges between pages 175 and 252.
