Cloth-backed paper boards lettered in gold at spine and upper board. With a tipped-in frontispiece and eight tipped-in plates (Frank Brangwyn, Cecil Hunt, A.S.Hartrick, Norman Wilkinson, Edmund J.Sullivan &c), plus contributions from Hilaire Belloc, Eden Phillpotts, Wilfrid Gibson, H.W.Nevinson, J.C.Squire and others. Brown boards have a little wear especially to yhe lower edge ; the prelims and a few pages have faint spotting. Dustwrapper is grubby with a small section missing near the middle of the spne and at the head.
